After a Polytechnic Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT), the best path for higher studies is pursuing a 3-year B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology (BMLT), often available via lateral entry into the second year. Other excellent options include B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or specialized postgraduate diplomas in Blood Bank Technology or Forensic Science.
