Code of Conduct for Students

The institute provides a healthy environment and facilities to students. To avail these facilities, every student must abide by the rules and regulations designed for the safety and well-being of the entire community.

General Discipline

  • Students are expected to behave properly with other students and pay due respect to faculty and staff members.
  • Shouting, whistling, and using abusive or offensive language is strictly prohibited in or around the institute.
  • Strictly Prohibited: Smoking, consumption of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs in the Institution, Examination Hall, or Hostel premises. Violation leads to expulsion.

Campus Regulations

  • Students must wear and display their Identity Cards at the gate and keep them on their person at all times inside the campus.
  • Students are expected to come to the institute dressed in a clean and proper uniform.
  • Use of Mobile Phones during class hours is prohibited and is liable for punishment.

Safety & Property

  • No student should bring any weapon or sharp articles to the institute. Physical manhandling is strictly prohibited.
  • Stealing, misusing, or defacing institute property is punishable. Students responsible for damage will be fined.
  • Students are responsible for their own belongings. The institute accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.

Academic & Attendance

  • Late arrival or early departures from a class are recorded as absence for the period concerned.
  • Attendance in industrial visits is mandatory unless exempted by the Principal. Visit notes must be submitted within a fortnight.
  • Laboratory and workshop apparatus must be left in good order after use.

Disciplinary Authority

Conduct inconsistent with general ethics, persistent neglect of work, or failure to respond to official notices shall be punished with fines or expulsion. The decision of the Principal shall be final in all matters concerning the Institute’s administration and regulation.
