Faculty & Staff Training Policy
To keep pace with fast-changing technology and educational methodologies, continuous professional development is essential. HSBTE mandates specific training norms to ensure faculty and staff remain updated and motivated.
Short Term Training (STTP)
- Mandatory: Every faculty member must undergo 10 days of training per academic year.
- Institutions: NITTTR (Govt. of India) & HIPA (Govt. of Haryana) are preferred.
- Apex Institutes: Participation in programs by IIM, NITs, or IITs is encouraged at least once in 2 years.
Induction for New Faculty
- Newly recruited teachers often lack formal training in pedagogy and class management.
- Compulsory: Participation in a 3-week Induction Program offered by NITTTR or AICTE-empowered institutions is mandatory.
Conferences & Seminars
- Participation: Every faculty must present a paper in a National Conference (once/year) and International Conference (once/5 years).
- Reimbursement: Up to ₹5,000 for National and ₹50,000 for International conferences.
- Seminars: Registration fee up to ₹2,500 + TA/DA borne by the Institute generally once a year.
Staff Training
- Target Group: Instructors and Workshop Foremen.
- Mandate: Must participate in at least a 5-day training program per year.
- Institutes: Govt. of India institutions like CTI, ISTC, or NITTTR.
